Scrapy-splash up to 0.7.x Request Parameter HttpAuthMiddleware http_user/http_pass information disclosure

A vulnerability has been found in Scrapy-splash up to 0.7.x and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects the function HttpAuthMiddleware of the component Request Parameter Handler. Upgrading to version 0.8.0 eliminates this vulnerability. Applying the patch 2b253e57fe64ec575079c8cdc99fe2013502ea31 is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at github.com. The best possible mitigation is suggested to be upgrading to the latest version.
